After a hot summer weekend in the Big City, Boomer & Craig were back at it in the Allstate Studio this morning talking about the Mets almost sweeping the Dodgers, before succumbing to a comedy of errors last night and losing 8-3.

The Dynamic Radio Duo also shared their thoughts on David Wright not being voted as an NL All-Star starter, an injustice in Craig’s eyes based on the fact he held nearly a 400,000 vote lead on Thursday.

Joe Torre speaks out on Roger Clemens and the Baseball Hall of Fame, which prompts Craig to speak out about the former Yankees skipper and current Executive Vice President of Baseball Operations for Major League Baseball. Boomer clearly did not agree with his radio partner’s take on Torre, a man he knows personally, so that made things a little interesting.

The Yankees salvage their series against the White Sox with a 4-2 win in the Bronx and Boomer responds to a piece in yesterday’s N.Y. Post that certainly needed to be addressed…
