Robbery Suspect Sought In 14 Incidents At Delis, Grocery Stores & Bodegas
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are looking for a serial robbery suspect, who has struck at locations in Manhattan and Brooklyn.
Authorities said the suspect is wanted in a total of 14 incidents at delis, grocery stores and bodegas.
In each of the incidents, the suspect enters the establishment while displaying a firearm and removes cash and cartons of cigarettes before fleeing the scene.
There were no injuries in any of the robberies, police said.
The most recent occurrence took place at a Deli in Chelsea on 8th Avenue.
The suspect -- described as a black or Hispanic man -- is said to be between 20 to 30 years old, between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-8. Authorities also said he wears a red hat, blue jeans, red sweatshirt and a white bandana.
