Kicking off the 7 a.m. hour the guys went to the phones and took a call from Tom, who dialed us up from Ronkonkoma and said after 25 years of listening to the station, this was the very first time he called-in. Tom is a lifelong Mets fan and he just wanted his praise for David Wright & R.A. Dickey to be ‘on the record’.
After Tom’s call concluded, Craig concluded that he is ‘holding it down in the Kronk’ – which prompted Boomer to share with us that as a kid he used to vacation in ‘the Kronk’ and although he didn’t do much of it back then, the Blonde Bomber is a big fan of ‘motorboatin’.
From there the guys had some praise of their own for a listener named Rocco (‘alright Rocco!!!’) who called to talk about the Mets attendance thus far this year…
