NEW YORK (WFAN) – What is there left to talk about?

If you’re a radio yakker like Steve Somers, your job description reads: “You’d better come up with something to say.”

But Steve was at a loss for words Tuesday night after the Mets bumbled their way to an extra-innings loss to the Nationals in Washington. The bullpen — oh, the bullpen! — blew it not once, but twice!

Dewayne Wise of the Yankees has done a better job out of the ‘pen than any Mets reliever you can think of.

Now that’s sad.

Better pick it up, boys…
