NYC Mayor Eric Adams' corruption case dismissed with prejudice

Jets Not Bringing Back Safety Jim Leonhard

NEW YORK (WFAN) - The Jets and Jim Leonhard are parting ways.

Leonhard, the starting safety the last three seasons, will not re-join the team after tearing his right patellar tendon and having major knee surgery on Dec. 11, according to reports from the Daily News. It was the second consecutive season that Leonhard ended the year on injured reserve.

The Jets signed two free-agent safeties, LaRon Landry and Yeremiah Bell during the offseason.
