B&C Morning Show: Suzyn Waldman's Emotional Attachment To The Yanks & Jerry Is In Demand
If you happened to be listening to WCBS 880 (Radio Home of the NY Yankees) last night when Derek Jeter was hit with a pitch in the 8th inning of the Yankees 5-2 win in Seattle, you undoubtedly heard John Sterling's partner in the booth, Suzyn Waldman let out a couple of sighs, clearly shaken by the Captain getting plunked.
Boomer and Craig had no problem with Suzyn's outward concern being displayed, both knowing full well how emotionally invested the 65 year-old Waldman is in the Bombers. From there the Dynamic Radio Duo praised the Duo of Sterling and Waldman, who have been doing Yankees games together their own unique way since 2005.
After that, Boomer and Craig tried to offer Jerry Recco (pictured) a monetary reward with the promise that he would blow off his post show update duties and join the rest of the staff for a friendly game of softball against the guys over at MSG. Jerry would not budge though, despite the generous offer...
