Hardly 'Resting,' Miranda Lambert Saves More Puppies

If you’re a Miranda Lambert fan, you likely heard the star was put on vocal rest earlier this month by her doctor, missing some of her concerts. Although she rested her voice, she hardly rested!

Miranda Lambert stayed busy and rescued six puppies this month. So apparently she really is the “Fastest Girl in Town.” She found the little dears outside a daycare facility in Oklahoma, according to The Boot, and it was love at first sight. Lambert couldn’t resist helping the little guys out and giving them all names: Conway, Jackson Brown, Cabella, Bentley, Whitley and Ms. Danks.

The nurturing activist that she is, Lambert found homes for each one of her furry friends through her own charity, MuttNation Foundation.

This past Monday, Lambert found the last remaining pup her home.

And who wouldn’t want a pup from Miranda Lambert? Although all six puppies found homes, Lambert reminds us several dogs are in need of adoption. She tweeted:

Lambert backs up what she says, too. The country star and her hubby Blake Shelton have nine dogs already! She also recently hosted the fifth annual Cause for the Paws event, raising more than $207,000 for her MuttNation Foundation.

It's no wonder Lambert poured her heart out, crying during a live concert last month. She truly has a big heart. To help Lambert find other dogs good homes, click here.
