NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Have you heard that 70 is the new 20?
We’re not kidding!
Unlocking the fountain of youth may be as easy as taking a page right out of Grandma’s recipe book: Cooking with prunes, beets and sardines.
These “old school” foods are the ingredients to making you look glamorous. Holistic health coach and chef Donna Sonkin visited The Couch to explain.
Chicken soup with liquid minerals, for instance, includes collagen which is good for your hair, your skin and your immune system. Sonkin also has great recipes for traditional chicken soup, sauteed chopped chicken liver with eggs and beet salad.
For more recipe ideas and keys to look great, watch Sonkin’s full interview below. For copies of Donna’s recipes, click here. For information regarding her upcoming ‘Fountain of Youth’ class, click here.
