Starting quarterback for the Jets (he is still the starter right?), Mark Sanchez joins Boomer and Craig from their set at the Atlantic Health Training Center in Florham Park.
Craig doesn’t waste any time getting into the offense’s struggles this preseason. Sanchez says he isn’t particularly concerned at this point, and attributes some of the poor play to simply not having all of his guys healthy. He does view it as a unique opportunity to see exactly what they have depth-wise on their roster.
The guys ask Mark about his rocky season last year. He insists that it was never an issue of confidence, but it was a tumultuous year to say the least. Sanchez makes it clear that cutting down on turnovers will be a big focal point for him this season.
