After months of buildup and drama, the Jets got their season off to a great start with a 48-28 win over the Buffalo Bills, thanks in large part to the performance of their starting quarterback, Mark Sanchez.
Craig was grinning from ear-to-ear after the beat down and says that Rex’s Gang Green put the rest of the NFL on notice. Boomer completely understood and expected his radio partner’s enthusiasm for his team, he called the win an elixir and exactly what the doctor ordered.
Boomer went on call Sanchez’s performance the best of his 4-year career – which was tough to argue. Booms also complimented the Jets on the defensive side of the ball, but did express concern about their ability/inability to defend the run.
