NYPD Officer Involved In Deadly Shooting In Brooklyn
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- CBS 2 has learned an on-duty police officer shot and killed a suspect following an altercation late Thursday night in the Carroll Gardens section of Brooklyn.
The shooting took place in the vicinity of Hamilton Avenue and West 9th Street at approximately 10 p.m., police said.
The officer was not seriously injured in the confrontation. The suspect died at the scene.
