B&C Morning Show: Rick Barry Mistakes Boomer For Phil Simms
Boomer & Craig took part in a dinner last night at St. John's, where they ran into Basketball Hall of Famer Rick Barry. Like many before him, Barry confused Boomer with another Blonde Bomber.
Upon meeting Boomer, Barry called him Phil Simms.
Boomer played along, used his quick wit to make light of the gaffe and then got his revenge - which we heard all about.
We also heard about a new edition soon to make its way into the Allstate Studio, as a group of Long Islanders bid - and won - a Pro Football Hall of Fame autographed jacket that they would like to see displayed in the studio, since they believe Boomer will never get one of his own. A low blow if ya' ask me, but at least the money went to charity...
