Jason Aldean Caught With Former American Idol Contestant Brittany Kerr

Jason Aldean is making headlines this week and not for the reasons he'd like.  This past Wednesday night, while in California on his nationwide tour, Aldean was caught in a scandalous situation with former American Idol contestant and Charlotte Bobcats cheerleader, Brittany Kerr.

Aldean and crew ended up at The Den in Los Angeles, a spot frequented by paparazzi and celebrity sight-seers.  After drinking a little too much, he made his way to the crowded patio area of the bar with Kerr, obviously flirting, getting close and what appears like reaching in for a kiss.  TMZ was on site and snapped a few pictures that ultimately put Aldean in a sticky situation.  Why?  Because the country superstar is married to high school sweetheart Jessica Ussery.  The couple have been together for 11 years and have two children together.

When fans and media got wind of the news, Aldean decided to take matters in his own hand and issued an apology:

Hey Guys – I wanted to talk to you directly, so you were hearing the truth from me and not just reading allegations made about my personal life on gossip web sites. The truth is that I screwed up. I had too much to drink, let the party get out of hand and acted inappropriately at a bar. I left alone, caught the bus to our next show and that's the end of the story. I ultimately ended up embarrassing my family and myself. I'm not perfect, and I'm sorry for disappointing you guys. I really appreciate being able to work through this privately with my family and for all your continued support.

While fans of the country singer are expressing their support for Aldean's mistakes, Kerr's Facebook page has blown up with negative comments.  No comment yet from Kerr's camp.
