Police: Bicyclist Killed In Hit-And-Run In Brooklyn

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Police are searching for a hit-and-run driver who allegedly struck a bicyclist on a Brooklyn street.

The 26-year-old victim was found lying on the ground on Metropolitan Avenue near Stewart Avenue around 5:15 a.m. Monday in Linden Hill, police said.

The victim, who has not been identified, had a serious head injury and was rushed to Woodhull Hospital where he later died, police said.

The investigation is ongoing.
