B&C Morning Show: Hall Of Famer Barry Sanders Stops By
Barry Sanders is a member of both the college and professional football Hall of Fame and today he paid a visit to the Allstate Studio to sit down with Boomer & Craig.
Sanders arrived wearing his distinctive yellow Pro Football Hall of Fame blazer and even let the Booms (who donned an authentic Barry Sander Lions jersey for the interview) get a touch. Craig on the other-hand, Sanders made it clear he didn’t want him to get to close.
Sanders talked with the guys about his 10-year NFL career and what made him decide to hang up his cleats at the age 31, just 1,457 yards short of the NFL all-time mark. Sanders seemed humbled to learn that he was one of the players that Boomer made it a point to watch perform.
Before saying goodbye, the guys got Sanders’ take on the NFL replacement referees, of course we learned what he is benchin’ before, who some refer to as the most elusive back to ever play in the NFL, was pressured into singing a few notes of ‘My Girl’ along with the Dynamic Radio Duo.
