B&C Morning Show: Yanks Bludgeon Red Sox; Woody Ruffles Jets Fans' Feathers

Jerry Recco got things started this morning by recapping how the Yankees bludgeoned the Red Sox, 10-2, last night in the Bronx.  We got to hear Yankees' legendary radio play-by-play man John Sterling describe the 'onslaught,' while his partner in the booth, Suzyn Waldman, naturally referenced her days on Broadway when conducting a post game interview with Nick Swisher.

Joe Girardi seemed pleased with the win and the 'hefty-lefty' CC Sabathia enjoyed a relatively stress-free night on the mound.

Plus, the Mets lose but look to RA dickey tonight to get win No. 21, Rex Ryan doesn't think things can get any worse for the Jets, while owner Woody Johnson (pictured) did his best to alienate the fan base by making his true feelings known.

The Knicks conducted their media day yesterday and Mike 'Wild Thang' Woodson likes his team's chances.  Boomer on the other hand isn't completely sold on the Knickerbockers, going as far as to hint towards buying himself a Brooklyn Nets jersey - which Craig has a big, big problem with.  Rounding things out, the Bulls reach a contract extension with head coach Tom Thibodeau...
