B&C Morning Show: Yankees Fans, Let The Games Begin

With the Jets not playing until Monday night against the Texans, Boomer & Craig opened up this football Friday edition of the Morning Extravaganza talking about the Yankees, as they await the winner of tonight's Orioles-Rangers game to find out where they will be playing Sunday to kick off their quest for Championship #28 .

They also talked a little about the New York Football Giants while they prepare to welcome the Browns to MetLife Stadium Sunday afternoon.

Onthe Yanks, the guys got involved in a spirited debate regarding some concerns the Bombers have heading into the postseason.  Boomer cites the absence of Mariano Rivera as the Bombers biggest worry, wondering if Rafael Soriano is up to the task of closing out games under the pressure that awaits him.

Craig thinks the comparisons to Mariano - the greatest closer of all-time - are unfair and uncalled for.  He believes the Yankees have much bigger concerns, beginning with the fact the Andy Pettitte is scheduled to start Game 2 and will be expected to go at least 7 innings.

Moving right along to the football, the Giants will take on the Browns short-handed, as Hakeem Nicks, among others, will not play.  Jason Pierre-Paul has recorded just 1.5 sack so far this season and says he is not having any fun.  Boomer suspects the man they call JPP might have a little fun against the Browns, saying the game will be won at the line of scrimmage (breakin' it down).

Not to be left out, rumors are now circulating that Eva Longoria is pregnant with Mark Sanchez's 'love child' - although they have been denied.  So there's that too...
