B&C Morning Show: Jerry's Near-Flawless Update
Jerry Recco began his first update of the morning with a thorough recap of the Yankees' thrilling 7-2 win over the Orioles in Game 1 of the ALDS last night in Baltimore. We listened to the great John Sterling's call of Russell Martin's go-ahead home run, leading off the top of the 9th inning, in addition to postgame audio from the Captain, Derek Jeter, as well as Yankees skipper Joe Girardi.
Jerry provided the rest of the scores from the MLB playoffs, before moving on to Big Blue, as they handled the Browns 41-27 after falling behind 14-0 in the 1st quarter. Afterward Eli Manning talked about his pregame speech, which apparently fell on deaf ears.
After that, Jerry ran down the rest of the score from Week 5 (can you spot his error?) before offering up a preview for tonight's Texans-Jets game at MetLife Stadium, a game Boomer sees being a little closer than people might expect...
