Time Running Out For New Yorkers To Register To Vote
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Midnight is the deadline for New Yorkers to have their voter registration envelopes postmarked.

"What you'll be doing is giving your name and address and they'll want a copy of your signature," said attorney Bob Bishop with Pitta Bishop Del Giorno & Giblin LLC.
He told WCBS 880 reporter Monica Miller that New Yorkers rank 47th in the nation in voter registration.
"We're all very busy working. There's a lot of distractions facing you in New York that are not facing you in other areas of the country," he said. "Our democracy is dependent upon people voting and I look forward to the day where every ATM machine can be used to cast your ballot."

The Presidency, along with the U.S. Senate, U.S. House of Representative, State Senate, and State Assembly seats are all up for grabs.
Election Day is November 6.
