Just after 7 a.m., Boomer & Craig were still fixated on the Giants after Craig all but guaranteed another trip to the Super Bowl for Big Blue. With that said, any success the Giants have will be directly correlated with that of the success of their quarterback, Eli Manning, who is clearly one of the elite signal callers in the NFL.
Boomer was certain to give Eli his due, but took a couple of minutes to praise the play of Packers QB Aaron Rodgers. According to Boomer, Rodgers is playing the position about as good as he has ever seen it played.
Pretty high praise from a guy who won an MVP while calling signals for the Bengals back in 1988.
