LaGuardia To Reopen Thursday Morning
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- LaGuardia Airport will reopen Thursday morning.
The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey said on its Web site Wednesday evening that the airport will reopen at 7 a.m. Thursday.
But air carriers will be operating limited flight schedules.
The airport has been shut down since Superstorm Sandy ripped through the area on Monday night.
The airport sustained extensive damage during the superstorm. Photos showed jetways hanging over what looked like a lake from storm surges.
John F. Kennedy International and Newark Liberty airports reopened on Wednesday.
