With the 2012-13 NBA season under way, the one and only Marv Albert set his alarm clock early and dialed up Boomer & Craig to have a little chat.
Marv can of course be heard calling games on TNT throughout the season and was scheduled to call the Nets’ home opener against the Knicks at the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn. We got his take on the decision to postpone the game, what teams he likes in both the East and West, as well as his reaction to the trade which landed James Harden in Houston.
Getting back to the local scene, Albert admitted that he believes the outlook for the Nets, is brighter than that of the Knicks and he also expressed concerns about whether or not Amar’e Stoundemire and Carmelo Anthony can co-exist over the long-haul.
Rounding things out, the guys called upon Marv’s football expertise and got his take on the Jets, as they approach their bye week with a record of 3-5…
