'Funny For Fido' Event Will Raise Money For Pets, Family Affected By Sandy

He'll be hosting the fifth annual Funny for Fido benefit on Tuesday, Nov. 13. It's a fundraising event that brings some of the biggest names in comedy together to raise money and awareness for animal rescue shelters throughout New York.

Because so many shelters were hit by the storm and hundreds of families lost their 4-legged children, Silver and team have refocused their efforts and are currently assisting in the rescue and assistance for those animals in need and their families throughout New York and New Jersey.

Additionally, funds raised the evening of the event will be put towards rebuilding the shelters that suffered damage.

He joined The Couch to talk about the event - and let us know how you can help.
