B&C Morning Show: Tebow Is 'Terrible'? Eli Isn't Elite? Here We Go Again!
Numerous 'unnamed' Jets players, along with starting left guard Matt Slauson (pictured), had some things to say about teammate Tim Tebow and the Jets' current situation at the quarterback position.
Boomer and Craig got things started this morning, talking about the latest drama sweeping through Jets camp over there in Florham Park, describing the entire situation as 'predictable.'
Phil Simms, who was described as looking 'like a ferret' by a female listener on yesterday's edition of the 'Boomer & Carton Morning Extravaganza', appeared on CBS Sports Network's 'NFL Monday QB' and when pressed, offered his opinion on Eli Manning. And it's because of that opinion the guys were talking about the former Giants quarterback early on today.
Simms simply said Eli Manning is not an 'elite' NFL quarterback -- in his opinion. Based on his resume, I'd say the other 'blonder bomber' is entitled to his opinion, but nonetheless here we go again.
