B&C Morning Show: Ex-Jets QB Vinny Testaverde Stops By To Say Hello
Boomer and Craig were happy to welcome former Jets quarterback Vinny Testaverde into the Allstate Studio to talk a little football.
Before taking a snap in the NFL, Testaverde won a Heisman Trophy while playing collegiate football at the University of Miami and then followed that up with a 21-year professional career, including a couple of stints with the Jets from 1998-2003, then again in 2005.
Craig got things started by letting Testaverde know how well he has aged, especially in comparison to Boomer. They picked his brain about the Jets’ current situation at quarterback with Mark Sanchez and Tim Tebow both making headlines for all the wrong reasons. Testaverde spoke about his love/hate relationship with former head coach Bill Parcells, dealing with his debilitating Achilles injury back in 1999, who he might vote for in this year’s Heisman Trophy race, of course ‘what he is benchin’ and we heard all about a Testaverde Thanksgiving…
