The Knicks went to New Orleans and took care of business by beating down the Hornets, 102-80, in the Big Easy, improving to 8-1 on the young season. The Nets kept things close out in L.A. against the Lakers, but in the end fell to the Mike D’Antoni-led bunch, 99-90.
The big story emerging from both of theses games is the fact that Boomer stayed up to watch both contests to the very end. With that said, the Booms was a little worse for the wear, but as we know he is a gamer, and his on-air performance did not suffer.
