B&C Morning Show: Update Madness

In addition to providing hilarious and informative updates throughout each edition of the Boomer & Carton Morning Extravaganza , Jerry Recco can also be heard calling both Columbia football and basketball games (on the Internet).  Well last night the Lions upset Villanova, 75-57, so needless to say Jerry was pretty happy, while Craig suspects this will be 'Nova head coach Jay Wright's last year coaching the Wildcats.

Boomer's mood, on the other hand, could be described by using the word foul, as the Blonde Bomber expressed an urge to "rip off" WFAN overnight host Tony Paige's face, explaining that his desire stems from the lack of traffic updates on his radio program.  Then we had a case of battling taints, as Tony and WFAN legend Steve Somers locked horns.

From there Jerry got things back on track by offering a recap of yet another win by the Knicks. Last night's came in New Orleans, where Carmelo Anthony was described as an "animal" by his teammate, Raymond Felton.  MSG's Tina Cervasio made "scoring the ball" sound very sexy, which had Craig looking for Jill Martin and presumably having impure thoughts.

Mike D'Antoni made his debut on the Lakers' bench last night while high on Vicodin and still managed to coach his new team to a 99-90 victory over the Nets, who played well but not well enough.

Plus, Yanks re-sign Hiroki Kuroda to a one-year deal, Craig's intimacy issues and Plaxico Burress re-signs with the Steelers...
