Teen Survives Fall From 6-Story Building In Inwood

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A 16-year-old boy survived a five-story fall from an apartment building in Inwood Saturday night, authorities said.

Paramedics confirmed to 1010 WINS that the boy fell from the top of the six-story building at 541 W. 204th St. at 7:15 p.m. Saturday.

The boy, who was visiting his grandmother at the time, ended up on the roof of a nearby building, according to the New York Post. He was rescued by a police officer and another man who pulled him through a window, the Post reported.

The boy suffered a broken leg, as well as neck and back injuries, and was reported in stable condition at New York Presbyterian Hospital, the Post reported.

The Post report identified the boy only as "Nathaniel."
