Coming off their bye week, the Giants beat down the Packers on Sunday night, 38-10, at MetLife Stadium — not so subtly reminding everyone that they are “Big Blue.”
Eli and the offense looked as good as they have looked in a month, thanks in large part to the stellar play of the defense, specifically the vaunted front four. They did what they are supposed to do, sacking the 2011-12 NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers five times and forcing two fumbles on the night.
With the win, the Giants now have a two-game lead on both the Cowboys and the Redskins with five games to play.
The next game is on Monday night in Washington against the aforementioned Redskins and Robert Griffin III, and because of that, Boomer & Craig opened up this Monday edition of the Morning Extravaganza talking about all of the goodness associated with the New York Giants. They then moved onto the Jets, who according to Craig “ruined everybody’s Thanksgiving,” and the Knicks, who play the Nets tonight in Brooklyn.
So with that, after the long holiday weekend, we welcome ya’ll back…
