The four members of Little Big Town have had an amazing year. Their new album Tornado soared to the top of the charts, as did their summertime sing “Pontoon.” Their latest single “Tornado” is rising up the charts as well.
This week, however, Little Big Town is in mourning after losing someone close.
The band made the ill-fated announcement yesterday on their Facebook page. No further details have been released yet about the loss. The statement reads:
“Sadly, the Little Big Town family has suffered a loss in their immediate family and will have to cancel their upcoming concerts in Riverside, CA (11/28) and Los Angeles, CA (11/29). Riverside, CA will be rescheduled at a later date and the Los Angeles show at The Wiltern will now take place on February 8, 2013. Tickets for The Wiltern show will be honored on the rescheduled night. The band would like to thank their fans for their understanding and compassion during this very difficult time.”
Our thoughts are with the entire band as they face this unfortunate turn of events.
The band’s tour dates are currently scheduled to resume Dec. 1 in Charlotte, N.C.
