NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – From Bel Air to Broadway.
Actress Janet Hubert, the original Aunt Viv on “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” is back on Broadway with her one-woman show, “From Broadway to TV Now Back to Me!”
“We’ve been trying to do this for 30 years,” Hubert said. “It’s been a 30-year endeavor of telling the story of Julliard, and then going from the country as a little girl with a wild imagination, and then going to New York and then going to Hollywood and dealing with all that drama..which I’ve turned into a wonderful project.”
The show tells the story of her life – from the poignant to the preposterous. She told a bit of her story on The Couch.
The show isĀ at 7:30 Saturday night at the Laurie Beechman Theater at the Weste Bank Cafe in Midtown.
