Before Jerry Recco got started delivering his first update of the morning, Craig delivered the unfortunate news that BMA (Brandon Moore’s A–) will no longer be permitted to make appearances on the Morning Extravaganza, as per the “powers that be.” Fortunately, Jerry was on hand to help us move on, and he was proudly wearing his WFAN softball jersey — straight up representin’.

During his update we heard all about David Wright’s new deal, a fat Derek Jeter rehabbing in Florida and more Jets drama. The Falcons downed the Saints, 23-13, on Thursday Night Football as Drew Brees threw five interceptions and failed to throw a touchdown. Rutgers fedd to Louisville, 20-17, dashing their hopes of going to a BCS Bowl.

From the NBA, Nets center Brook Lopez will miss a few games with a sprained foot, Rajon Rondo was suspended two games for his actions against the Nets on Wednesday night in Boston and the Spurs fell to the Heat, 105-100, in Miami. Everyone is pissed at Gregg Popovich, including Boomer…
