STONY BROOK, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) — An East Moriches, Long Island, man was arrested Saturday and accused in a sexual assault late last month.

Patrick O’Sullivan, 20, of the 0-99 block of Beverly Lane, was charged in a Nov. 20 sexual assault that occurred in Nov. 20 in Stony Brook. He was charged with first-degree rape, burglary, criminal sexual acts, and criminal use of a firearm, as well as second-degree kidnapping.

Wearing dark clothing and a mask and armed with a rifle, the suspect entered a home through an unlocked door. He allegedly committed a sexual assault, but details about the assault and the victim were not specified.

No other similar incidents were reported in the area.

O’Sullivan was due for an arraignment in Suffolk County First District Court on Sunday.
