Giants' LB Jacquian Williams To Miss Game Against Redskins

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — New York Giants backup linebacker Jacquian Williams will miss Monday night's game against the Washington Redskins.

The Giants announced Sunday that Williams was being downgraded from doubtful to out because of a knee injury. The second-year player from South Florida hurt it on Oct. 14 against San Francisco and had missed the last five games.

Tight end Travis Beckham, who spent the first eight weeks of the season on the physically unable to perform list with a knee injury, was ruled out with a knee problem on Saturday.

Safety Kenny Phillips, who aggravated an injury to his right knee last week, is doubtful for the game. Offensive tackle David Diehl (shoulder), receiver Domenik Hixon (ankle) and defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul (back) are questionable.
