The Emmy and Tony Award winner announced he will host multiple private screenings of his upcoming comedy “Parental Guidance” next Monday at the UA Theater in Lynbrook.
The 64-year-old comedian plans to bus residents to the nearby theater.
Crystal, who lives in California, told Newsday, “You can mend buildings, but rebuilding people’s confidence and their mood, and putting a smile on their face is what I do. Hopefully I can lift their spirits.”
Crystal said he will greet everybody who attends the screenings.
“Parental Guidance,” which stars Crystal and Bette Midler, officially opens Christmas Day.
