What can you say? Although it wasn’t pretty, those darn Jets found a way to win down in Jacksonville, topping the Jaguars 17-10 and now — with a record of 6-7 — are legitimately alive in the wide-open AFC playoff picture.

As for the Giants, they walloped the Saints 52-27. And it’s a good thing they did, because  the Redskins and the Cowboys were both on the winning side of things.  The NFC East remains tight, with the Big Blue holding just a one-game lead on the ‘Skins and the ‘Boys – and a pretty rough road ahead of them (@ Atlanta, @ Baltimore, vs. Eagles).

So Boomer and Craig opened things up by ‘tackling’ all of the action from an eventful football Sunday that had New Yorkers grinning from ear to ear.

Craig did admittedly pull a little bit of a jerky move this morning – at least as far as Giants fans are concerned – by presenting a scenario that has Big Blue and Gang Green both ringing in the Christmas holiday with identical 8-7 records. ‘Tis the season…
