Reward For Information In Shooting Death Of Mom Outside Brooklyn Hospital
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A $12,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the death Shalema Gaskin, whose body was found behind a hospital in Brooklyn.
The mother of three was shot to death in the parking of Brookdale Hospital on Tuesday, police said. She was at the hospital visiting her 8-year-old daughter, who had been admitted for an asthma attack.
Police said Gaskin's belongings, including an iPhone, were not taken.
The NYPD is offering $10,000 for an arrest and conviction. Crime Stoppers is offering $2,000 for an arrest and indictment in the case.
