Police Search For Flasher, Groper After Separate Queens Subway Incidents

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Police said they were searching for one suspect who exposed himself, and another who groped a woman, in separate incidents Wednesday in the Queens part of the subway system.

The first incident happened around 10:30 a.m. on an outbound “E” train at the 71st Avenue-Continental Avenue station in Forest Hills. The suspect, identified by police as Dimitruis Senior, 48, allegedly exposed himself to a 23-year-old woman on the train and then ran off.

Senior was wanted Wednesday night on charges of public lewdness in transit. He was described as 5-foot-11 and 185 pounds.

Just 10 minutes later, a 27-year-old woman was standing on the Manhattan-bound platform for the “7” train at the Queensboro Plaza stop, when a suspect walked up, grabbed her buttocks, and fled, police said.

This suspect was not identified, but a surveillance image of him was captured.

Anyone with information about the second incident is asked to call the NYPD Crime Stoppers hotline in (800) 577-TIPS, go to the Crime Stoppers Web site, or text tips to 274637 and enter TIP577.
