On Saturday, after hearing from a source, Boomer took to Twitter and confidently let everyone know that pro hockey was on its way back.

Needless to say, as we are in the new age of social media, Boomer’s heads-up was met with resistance, particularly by a fella named Sean Gentille, who is employed by The Sporting News and felt empowered Saturday night.

Considering the NHL is back, Boomer is waiting for an apology from this Gentille character, but at this point it appears that his internet muscles have been deflated.

Not surprising, really…
