Police Seek Man Who Touched 10-Year-Old Girl, Exposed Himself In Queens

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police spent Monday searching for a man who inappropriately touched a 10-year-old girl, and exposed himself to her, in Queens this past weekend.

Around 4:05 p.m. Saturday, the girl was walking home from a store near the 110th Precinct, which includes the Elmhurst and Corona sections of Queens, when the suspect followed her into her apartment building, police said.

Once they were inside, the man started chatting the girl up, before he touched her crotch over her clothes and exposed himself to her, police said.

The girl ran into her apartment, while the man took off in an unknown direction. The girl was not injured, police said.

The suspect was described as a white male about 30 years old, standing 5-foot-10 to 6-foot, and weighing 170 to 190 pounds.

The man has a beard and was wearing a black sweat suit, a black knit cap and glasses. He was also pushing a black mountain bike.
