First we got a good listen to what it sounds like when Craig breaths in FM — which was obviously pretty awesome. Then Jerry Recco spoke of the ‘good effort’ put forth by the Columbia Lions last night against Holy Cross before he began his first update of the morning.

‘In Rex we trust.’  That’s the message Woody Johnson was hoping to convey when he and head coach Rex Ryan met the assembled media yesterday morning at Florham Park.  Jerry provided plenty of audio, which was accompanied by plenty of commentary courtesy of Boomer and Craig.

The guys also did some speculating about who might be the next defensive coordinator for the New York Jets.  Perhaps Rex’s brother Rob – who was fired by the Cowboys yesterday – should submit a resume.  Boomer and Craig imagine what it might be like if another Ryan were added to the circus that is the Jets.

Plus, Robert Griffin III to undergo major reconstructive surgery on his right knee, Carmelo Anthony offers an explanation as to why he wanted a word with Kevin Garnett following Monday night’s Celtics-Knicks game, and Nets forward Andray Blatche questioned in a sexual assault investigation and then contributes 20 points in Brooklyn’s 109-89 win over the Sixers in Philly…
