Rex Ryan and Woody Johnson are all good. That much was clear after Tuesday’s press conference at Florham Park, where the Jets’ owner and head coach provided plenty of content for today’s edition of the Boomer & Carton Morning Extravaganza.

With that said, the dynamic radio duo that is Boomer and Craig got things going today by analyzing — or at least attempting to –  what went down when Rex and Woody spoke to the assembled media.  A few things we learned: Woody thinks of Rex as ‘sophisticated,’ Mike Tannenbaum was stabbed in the back by his good buddy Rex, and Rex himself had an ‘offensive epiphany’ while sitting poolside in the Bahamas.

So like I said, and abundance of talking points.  We also got wind of what Kevin Garnett said to Carmelo Anthony which made the Knicks superstar go bonkers Monday night.  Garnett reportedly made a comment about Melo’s wife and Honey Nut Cheerios, which according to Boomer and Craig makes Carmelo’s behavior understandable, if not accepted…
