B&C Morning Show: Artie Lange Pays A Visit, Many Laughs Ensue

Artie Lange made the trip into Manhattan this morning to sit down with the dynamic radio duo, Boomer and Carton, in the Allstate Studio.

Artie is a friend of the show and played a big part in the success of Boomer and Craig's 'Come Gets Some Comedy' event for Sandy relief back in November.  He stopped by Thursday to promote his upcoming gig at the Gotham Comedy Club this Saturday, Jan. 12, but really just wanted to catch up with the guys.

They talked about the feud between Carmelo Anthony and Kevin Garnett, and that led to a discussion about trash-talking in sports.  Such a conversation would not be complete without mentioning one of the greatest trash-talkers of all, Larry Bird, who ironically, like KG, also played for the Celtics.

Rex Ryan's tattoo came up, as did the Yankees' cloudy future and the Mike Piazza's Hall of Fame credentials.  Artie told a personal story about playing Scrabble in a psych ward and keeping score, his relationships with Jimmy Kimmel, Jay Leno and David Letterman, before finishing things off with a classic story involving Don Rickles, Frank Sinatra and an unknown woman...
