Man Shot Dead In Canarsie, Brooklyn
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A man was shot and killed early Tuesday in Canarsie, Brooklyn.
Around 1:30 a.m., police responded to a 911 call of a man shot at East 87th Street and Farragut Road.
Responding officers found Yusef Crockett, 22, lying at the scene with a gunshot wound to the torso.
Crockett, who lived a block away on 86th Street, was taken to Brookdale Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
No one was in custody in the shooting as of Tuesday morning.
