Report: NYPD Sergeant Accused Of Using License Plate Flipper
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A New York City police sergeant was arrested this week, reportedly for putting a mechanism on his car that would prevent people from seeing his license plate.
NYPD Sgt. Grigoriy Bardash, 32, was arrested Tuesday and charged with obstructing governmental administration.
Police provided no additional information.
But DNAInfo reported the 11-year police veteran placed a device on his personal car that could flip over his license plate and prevent his vehicle from being recognized. The device is often seen in spy films, the publication reported.
