Kanye, Kardashian And Kris: J.R. Smith Posterizes Nets' Humphries Via Twitter

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Final score: J.R. 1, Kris 0.

After Monday's big win over the Knicks at Madison Square Garden, Nets forward Kris Humphries tweeted "Big game tonight! The Garden got really quiet on the way out! #Brooklyn."

But Knicks forward J.R. Smith was there for the power dunk. His nine-word response on Twitter managed to combine Humphries' crash-and-burn marriage to Kim Kardashian and the reality star's current relationship with rapper Kanye West.

"Wasnt quiet when Kanye tore it down last month!" Smith tweeted.

West performed at MSG's 12-12-12 concert in Dec., and later that month announced Kardashian was pregnant with his child.

Smith's message was retweeted more than 50,000 times as of Tuesday morning.

West took a dig at Humphries in his 2012 single "Cold": "And I'll admit, I had fell in love with Kim/Around the same time she had fell in love with him/Well that's cool, baby girl, do ya thang/Lucky I ain't had Jay drop him from the team."

Humphries and Kardashian were married for 72 days before their much-discussed split. Kardashian said last week that she hoped to wrap up the drawn-out divorce proceedings.

"I can't speak for Kris, but I just want him to be happy and I want us to move on, and that's really what I want, is just to move on," she told David Letterman on Wednesday's "Late Show."
