Suspect Charged In Attack On 98-Year-Old Man In Coney Island
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A suspect has been charged with attacking and robbery a 98-year-old man in Coney Island earlier this month.
Bruce Lewis, 49, of Brooklyn, was charged Wednesday with the brutal assault and robbery of the man inside a building at 2920 W. 21st St. in Brooklyn, police said.
The suspect threw the man to the ground, punched him in the face, and stole money from his pocket.
Lewis was charged with robbery and assault.
Police have not specified the relationship, if any, between Lewis and the 98-year-old victim.
