Even with Super Bowl XLVII fast approaching, those New York Jets – who finished the regular season with a record of 6-10 and failed to even make the playoffs – somehow keep finding their way into the news cycle.
Later Thursday, Jets owner Woody Johnson will introduce his new GM, John Idzik, at Florham Park. Both Woody and Idzik will undoubtedly be asked about the rumors circulating that the team will explore trading Darrelle Revis. So it was there that Boomer and Craig got things started.
Will the Jets trade Revis and if they do, what will they get in return? These questions and many more – like what is gonna happen tonight when Carmelo Anthony and the Knicks travel to Beantown to take on Kevin Garnett and the Celts – were addressed on this freezing-cold Thursday edition of the Boomer & Carton Morning Extravaganza.
Boomer was also sure to mention that his beloved Rangers got their first win of the young season last night over the Bruins, although the Blonde ‘super fan’ didn’t see any of the game.
That begs the question — if the Rangers win, but Boomer does not see it, should it count?
Just some food for thought…
