Police: Queens Luring Suspect Grabbed Girl, 13, As She Walked Away

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are looking for a suspect wanted in connection to the luring of a child in Queens.

Authorities said the incident happened Friday morning.

The suspect, who was driving a late model Cadillac Escalade, drove alongside a 13-year-old girl on Northern Boulevard at 102nd Street in Corona and engaged her in a conversation, police said.

The victim walked away from the car after realizing she didn't know the man, police said.

The suspect then exited his car and approached the girl again as she walked away and grabbed her by the arm, police said.

The victim was able to pull away from the suspect and fled from the area.

Authorities described the suspect as a light-skinned Hispanic man, 30 to 35 years old, wearing a black jacket, dark pants and a blue collared shirt.
