Police Search For Suspect Who Shot Teen In Harlem

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police on Saturday were asking for the public's help in a search for a suspect who shot and wounded a teen earlier this month in Harlem.

At 3:20 a.m. Jan. 6, the 18-year-old male victim was shot once in the shoulder, as he walked on St. Nicholas Avenue at 127th Street.

Police have not specified a motive for the shooting or further details. The victim's condition after the the shooting, and in the weeks since, was not listed.

The suspect is described as a black male, 25 years old, wearing a long black coat and a black skullcap.

Surveillance photos have been released.
